Group Exercise

Research has shown that people recover faster from injury and perform better at their chosen sport or work task if the Pilates exercises they use are tailored specifically to their needs. This is what we do in Group Exercise. At Prime Physiotherapy, we will often recommend to our lower back pain patients that they perform certain Pilates exercises at home in order to accelerate their recovery and reduce the risk of re-injury.
We also run Group Exercise classes, which involve the use of mat exercises, Fit Ball exercises and high quality (Stott) reformers. Prior to participating in the classes, you will be asked to attend a consultation with one of our trained Group Exercise physiotherapists so that we can develop a Pilates programme specifically suited to your needs.
