APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 1999, I have spent the majority of my career working in private practice. Over that time I have been privileged to work with many clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. In addition, each year between 2003 and 2014 I have also been the team physiotherapist for a Rugby Union or Rugby League team. More recently, I have developed our Clinical Pilates service and video analysis of running using Dartfish motion analysis software.

Special Interests:

  • Spinal Manual Therapy/Manipulation
  • Self-management or prevention of injury in the lumbar spine, pelvic girdle and hips through Clinical Pilates/Specific Exercise
  • Correction of inefficient biomechanics in running to reduce injury risk and improve performance
  • Helping our sports injury clients (of all ages and proficiency) to combine a high standard rehabilitation with an improved technique in his or her sports specific skill and an appropriate training load, in order to accelerate the return to sport and reduce the likelihood of a recurrence.
